About

Thank you for taking time to visit paulmarriottphotography.com
My name is Paul Marriott, I was born on the Isle of Man and have lived on the island all of my life.
Landscape photography is my passion and I get great pleasure in capturing the amazing scenery that the Isle of Man has to offer.
I purchased my first DSLR in 2009, a Canon 450D, primarily for photographing the Isle of Man TT Races.
As the TT Races only run for 2 weeks of the year I was at a bit of a loss as to what to photograph for the remaining 50 weeks.
So out came the walking boots and rucksack and off I set for the Manx Hills. Being a keen hill walker I kind of knew my way around the Manx countryside but I started to see things differently through the viewfinder of my trusty 450D.
I progressed from my 450D to a 60D and have since moved to a Canon 5D MKII and Canon 7D.
I still enjoy the TT but my passion is for landscape photography and how lucky I am to have such beautiful countryside right on my doorstep.
I hope you enjoy my images and please leave a message in my guestbook.....Paul
